Assistant Cook

Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Cook to join their kitchen team for approximately 20-30 hours per week (to include some evenings and weekends). The right person needs to be motivated, reliable and have a 'can-do' attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support kitchen operations, including breakfast, lunch, and events
• Provide cover for the Head Chef during pre-booked annual leave and other planned periods of absence, ensuring continuity and high standards across the kitchen
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety
• Follow all health and safety and food hygiene regulations

What We're Looking For:

• Previous cooking experience in a professional kitchen environment is essential
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and events
• Relevant food hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Have a can-do attitude with a friendly and approachable personality
• Will require own transportation due to remote location
